First for My First

Ty will be turning 7 in August and has finally lost his first two teeth. Here is what went down on his first tooth loosing experience.

Ty came upstairs pretty excited and said he heard a pop from his tooth while he was playing with it. He has been working on it for a few months now. It was bleeding a little and he was a little nervous, but excited at the same time.

He went in the bathroom and tried and tried to get it out, but it wasn't happening. I got him a washcloth for better grip.

He kept looking at it in the mirror and could almost push it out with his tongue.

He looked at me with this sad look and said "I don't feel so good, I think I need to lay down. Good thing he did because he was looking a little pale.

After a few minutes he got back up and tried again. HE DID IT!! He laughed and almost cried at the same time.

He called Aunt Stephy, Grandma and Grandpa Russell and Walker and made me tell the story about 15 times after that. He was pretty excited and I was pretty excited to get that thing out!

The tooth fairy brought him a dollar and he was so excited!
We wrapped a string around his second tooth and after about 30 minutes of trying when he wasn't looking I yanked it out! He was pretty angry until he figured out it didn't even hurt!

Yeah!!! Way to go Ty. Celeste you have big kids. I don't know how that happens, but it does, and the next thing you know Ty will be passing the sacrament, and then on a mission. Ok sorry to make you depressed. I get that way every once in a while with Jed. I only have 5 years left with him. I haven't taught him everything yet! Hey I was glad to see someone else loves Cheeser's in this world too. We must be sisters from a different mother:)

That's so funny! I think Brac is a little nervous about loosing teeth. Someone said some thing to him the other day about it and he just got kind of a panicked look on his face.. Can't wait to see everyone!

Loosing a tooth is scarey! My kids were the same..excited but terrified! Glad it went well. The tooth fairy has forgotten a few times at our house...hope it doesn't happen at yours! :)

I can't believe how big he is! I think the last time I saw him he was just getting teeth! All of your kids are so adorable!

Hey I thought about you the other day because..... I just finished the last of the hair spray that you got me for graduation!!! LOL! I have loved that stuff and it has lasted me 5 years (minus the 2 that I lived in Hawaii). So once again... THANKS!

I love you Celeste :)

That is SO funny. Great pictures too. That will be great to look back on. Maddie thinks she is going to die every time she looses a tooth. She has had her two front teeth gone for two years and one is finally growing in. Great job Ty!!! Your so very brave!!!
